When videographers shoot videos, they take into consideration that they will have the later on edit the pictures. However some deadlines may make it difficult for the videographer to do post-production editing. Often in cases like this, the videographers "edit in the camera". This would mean that the planning needs to be done in advance to find what shots could tell the correct story and then sorting the shots in that order. This may not result in a perfect product although the finished video will be much more interesting to watch than a shot which does not have a plan.
